Team news Spring 2023 – Welcome to our new colleagues (and more)
We’re delighted to introduce two new members of the Park team – Kate Thompson as Commercial Account Executive and Jody Sutherland as Commercial Account Handler. Welcome Kate and Jody!
The team have been making the most of the recent flurry of opportunities to strengthen existing relationships with insurers and develop new connections. For example we’ve been represented at the Broker Network 2023 Conference and the British Insurance Brokers Association 2023 Conference. We were also invited to a recent Aviva 110 event for Aviva’s top brokers, where they launched a ‘high net worth’ product. (Aviva have plans to become the number one High Net Worth home insurance provider in the UK. After the integration of both Azur Underwriting and Axa XL High Net Worth businesses into the Aviva HNW division they are well on the way to achieving this.)
We continue to support our local community and charities wherever we can. We recently submitted the staff donations from our weekly ‘dress down Friday’ for the last year to Kids in Crisis, a charity chosen by the team. Also we nominated the East Durham Partnership to receive a £500 donation from Ecclesiastical Insurance’s ‘Closer to You‘ programme, where brokers can nominate charities they care about.
