Team news July 2023 – solar panels and team training
Lots going on at Park as always.
We were very happy to be able to invest in solar panels recently – hopefully they should provide most of the energy we need for air-con in the summer and heating in the winter.
Lots going on with the team as always and we continue to prioritise development and training for our staff. Ian C is part-way through a six-month Management & Wellness programme. He’s already covered ‘Managing Yourself & Emotional Intelligence’ and after the summer will be looking at ‘Managing Individuals’ and ‘Team Management’. Dan has completed a 2-day Customer Service Skills course recently with Aviva in Leeds. All really valuable skills for us to provide the best possible service for our clients.
We’ve also had time for some fun! Some of us took part in the Allianz Treasure Hunt – as defending champions we fell at the last hurdle after being denied a recount. The quote of the day from Ian S was ‘we was robbed’, but we still had a great evening. We also took the time for a ‘whole team day out’ last month (see pics of some of the team below), and came together for a celebratory lunch for Ian C’s big birthday (21 again Ian?).
